Okay, If you bought it on steam, try Uninstalling GTA V and reinstalling it by Steam.If you don't know how, (sorry if you do) left click the game in the library and press 'uninstall', should be straight forward then. When you've done that, set up a mods folder. and all your game files will get put back to their default state. Steam will verify the game's files and restore them to the originals Go to your Steam Library, right-click on the Grand Theft Auto V entry, choose Properties > Local Files > Verify Integrity of Game Files.
Select the Local files tab and click the Verify integrity of game files button. On steam go to Library>Games>Right-Click on GTA V>Properites>Local Files>Verify Integrity of game Cache will will reset your game like the first day From the Library section, right-click on GTA V and select Properties from the menu. You can reset your GTA V, but not get an old back up without doing system restore on windows.
